This privacy policy covers the collection and use of personal data that may be gathered when you contact us -- for example, when you visit our website, enquire about, book or purchase services, or call us. Please take a moment to read the following document, which informs you about how we handle your personal data and what happens to your information.
Your personal rights are of the highest priority, and we make every effort to protect these rights.
Any data protection obligations that go beyond this privacy policy shall remain unaffected.
Why do we collect personal data?
We collect and use your personal data to provide you with exemplary customer service, to enable convenient access to our website and to present an optimal range of services. In addition, your personal data helps us keep you informed about the latest information and other developments that we believe may be of interest to you.
What data is collected?
There are a number of situations in which your personal data can help us provide you with a better service. For example, you may be asked to provide personal details when initiating a transaction. We only request information from you that is relevant to the particular situation. This may include your name, postal address, telephone number, email address, preferred method of contact, or credit card details. In addition, we collect information for market research purposes to better understand our customers and thereby offer you more effective service. Furthermore, we collect data on customer activities on our website. This data allows us to determine which information is truly useful to our customers and which areas of our websites and internet services interest them the most.
When do we share personal data?
We take the protection of your personal rights very seriously. We assure you that we neither sell nor lend your contact information to other providers. In order to provide you with excellent service, we may share your personal data with legal entities that are, however, obligated to protect this data in accordance with our privacy policy. At times, it may be beneficial for us to make certain personal data available to other companies with which we have entered into a strategic partnership or which act on our behalf to deliver products and services to you. These companies may assist us in processing information, granting credit, fulfilling customer orders, delivering products, performing services, managing and maintaining customer data, providing customer support, assessing your interest in our products and services, conducting customer research, or carrying out customer satisfaction surveys. These companies are likewise obligated to protect your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy. On occasion, we may be compelled by legal provisions or legal proceedings to disclose your personal data.
How do we protect your personal data?
We take precautionary measures, including administrative, electronic and physical procedures, to protect your personal data against loss, theft and misuse, as well as against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. You can also help us by taking appropriate precautions to protect your personal data on the internet. Change your password frequently, use a combination of letters and numbers, and ensure that you always use a secure web browser.
Integrity of your personal data
We have taken protective measures to ensure that your personal data is always accurate, complete and up to date for its intended purposes. Of course, you have the right at any time to access and modify the personal data you have provided. You can help us ensure that your contact information and preferences are accurate, complete and up to date.
Cookies and other technologies
As is common on many corporate websites, we also use so-called "cookies" and other technologies to gain better insight into which areas of our website are particularly popular, how our visitors navigate the site and how much time they spend in the various sections. In addition, we use cookies and other technologies to ensure that our online advertising is effective and that customers are made aware of our products and services. We use cookies and other technologies to analyse traffic on our website so that we can further improve its design and functionality, and to examine the efficiency of our communication with customers. Furthermore, we use cookies to better tailor the website to your needs and to offer you even greater convenience when navigating our site on each visit. Like most websites, we also automatically collect certain information and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps and clickstream data.
Our company-wide commitment to protecting your personal rights
As already mentioned, we take the protection of your personal rights very seriously. To ensure the security of your personal data, these guidelines are communicated to all employees, and privacy protection measures are strictly enforced within the company.
This website contains links to websites of other companies. We are not responsible for how these companies handle personal rights. We therefore recommend that you enquire about their respective privacy policies.
Use of external services
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies" -- text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the United States. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities and to provide further services related to website use and internet use to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly. Please note, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
You can prevent the collection of data relating to your use of this website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
For more information on the terms of use and data protection of Google Analytics, please visit: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/ and https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.
It may occur that third-party content is embedded within this online offering, such as videos from YouTube and Facebook, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always requires that the providers of this content ("third-party providers") are aware of the users' IP addresses. Without the IP address, they would be unable to send the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We endeavour to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address solely for the delivery of the content. However, we have no control over whether third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. Insofar as we are aware of this, we will inform users accordingly.
This offering uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins are identifiable by one of the Facebook logos (a white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are labelled with the text "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When a user visits a page of this offering that contains such a plugin, their browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and embedded into the webpage. The provider therefore has no control over the scope of data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and informs users accordingly to the best of their knowledge:
Through the integration of the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the offering. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate the visit with their Facebook account. When users interact with the plugins -- for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment -- the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Even if a user is not a Facebook member, Facebook may still obtain and store their IP address. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as the related rights and privacy settings, can be found in Facebook's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
If a user is a Facebook member and does not wish Facebook to collect data about them via this offering and link it to their Facebook membership data, they must log out of Facebook before visiting the website.
Additional settings and objections regarding the use of data for advertising purposes can be made within the Facebook profile settings: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads, or via the US-based website https://www.aboutads.info/choices/, or the EU website https://www.youronlinechoices.com/. These settings are platform-independent, meaning they are applied across all devices such as desktop computers and mobile devices.
Facebook Remarketing / Retargeting
Remarketing tags of the social network Facebook, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; parent company: Meta Platforms Inc., USA), are integrated on our pages and are loaded only with your consent. When you visit our pages, a direct connection is established between your browser and the Facebook server via the remarketing tags. Facebook thereby receives the information that you visited our site with your IP address. This enables Facebook to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. The information thus obtained may be used by us to display Facebook Ads. We wish to point out that, as the provider of these pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Facebook. For further information, please refer to Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. If you do not wish to have data collected via Custom Audience, you can deactivate Custom Audiences here.
Google Consent Mode v2 - what happens before you decide
For Google services we use Google Consent Mode v2. This means: as long as you have not given your consent, no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored. Google Analytics is loaded, but in this state it only transmits anonymous signals without recognition features (including your truncated IP address, the page requested and the time). Only with your consent are cookies set and full measurement activated.
- Without your consent: anonymous signals, no cookies, no profiling, no recognition across visits. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical reach measurement). You may object at any time - write to office@wellewest.at.
- With your consent: full measurement including cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).
- Microsoft Clarity and the advertising pixels load only after your consent - no comparable mechanism exists for them.
- Plausible runs independently of the banner - the service is cookieless, stores nothing on your device and collects no personal data. The basis is our legitimate interest in a simple reach measurement; see the Plausible section below.
- Leadinfo runs independently of the banner and identifies companies rather than individuals. The basis is our legitimate interest - you may object at any time, see the Leadinfo section below.
Plausible Analytics (cookieless)
We use Plausible Analytics provided by Plausible Insights OÜ (Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia) for a simple reach measurement. The service shows us which pages are requested, which source visitors arrive from and whether they read on a computer or a phone.
- No cookies, nothing stored on your device: Plausible sets no cookies and stores nothing in local storage. There is no recognition across visits and no cross-device tracking.
- No personal data: your IP address is not stored. It is only used to calculate a daily rotating, irreversible hash that holds a session together within one day; afterwards even that connection can no longer be established.
- Data collected: page requested, referring page, device type, browser, operating system, country (derived from the IP address, which is not stored), screen size.
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical reach measurement). Consent is not required because no cookies are set and no information is stored on or read from your device. You may object at any time - informally by email to office@wellewest.at.
- Transfer to third countries: none. The provider and its servers are located in the European Union; the data is processed in Germany.
- Retention: only aggregated statistics without any personal reference are created; individual visits are not stored permanently.
- Plausible privacy information: plausible.io/privacy · plausible.io/data-policy
Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)
With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel (formerly "Facebook Pixel") provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland; parent company: Meta Platforms Inc., USA) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to build audiences for advertisements (Custom Audiences, remarketing).
- Data collected: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, actions taken (e.g. submitting a form)
- Cookies:
_fbp,_fbc(lifetime: 90 days) - Purpose: conversion tracking, Custom Audiences, remarketing, optimisation of advertisements
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent)
- Transfer to third countries: data is transferred to the USA. Meta Platforms Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the EU standard contractual clauses apply. We and Meta are joint controllers pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR; the agreement is available here: facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum
- Object to advertisements: facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
- Meta privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
Meta Conversions API (server-side transmission)
When you submit the form on one of our campaign landing pages (e.g. "free draft") or enter your website address in the first step, we additionally report this event directly from our server to Meta (Meta Conversions API). This allows us to measure which advertisement led to an enquiry.
- Data transmitted: e-mail address and phone number exclusively as a SHA-256 hash (never in plain text), IP address, browser identifier (user agent), the address of the page containing the form, and - if you arrived via a Meta advertisement - the click identifier of that advertisement (fbclid/fbc, possibly fbp)
- Not transmitted: your website address, your message or any other form content
- Purpose: measuring the effectiveness of our Meta advertisements and optimising their delivery; events that are also reported by the Meta Pixel are merged via an event ID and counted only once
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in measuring and billing our advertising); you may object to this transmission at any time (contact details in section 1)
- Transfer to third countries: as with the Meta Pixel (EU-US Data Privacy Framework, EU standard contractual clauses, joint controllership pursuant to Art. 26 GDPR)
"Free draft" form (campaign landing pages)
On our campaign pages under /entwurf/… you can request a free draft of your website.
- Fields: address of your existing website and e-mail (required), phone and "what makes your business special" (optional), consent
- Technical additions: which campaign and industry the enquiry came from (stored in the page, not filled in by you)
- Purpose: creating the draft based on your existing website and contacting you about it by e-mail and phone
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent, including for contact by phone under § 107 Austrian TKG) and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures)
- Withdrawal: at any time by e-mail to office@wellewest.at - we will delete your data immediately
- Retention: up to 12 months after the last contact; immediately upon withdrawal
Processing your enquiry (Notion, Slack)
Enquiries from the draft form are recorded in our internal tools so that none is left unanswered:
- Notion (Notion Labs, Inc., 2300 Harrison St, San Francisco, CA, USA) - recording the enquiry and its status
- Slack (Slack Technologies Limited, Dublin, Ireland; group: Salesforce, Inc., USA) - internal notification that an enquiry has arrived
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR (handling your enquiry, orderly internal processes)
- Processing agreements and third countries: data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with both providers. Transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU standard contractual clauses; where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the transfer additionally relies on that framework.
Preview of your draft and open measurement
We publish your finished draft at a separate address that is not linked publicly (a subdomain of wellewest.info). You receive the link by e-mail.
- What is measured: whether and how often your draft was opened via the link sent to you, and the time of the last opening
- Purpose: to know when a call back makes sense - we point this out explicitly in the consent text of the form
- How: exclusively via our own infrastructure (no third-party provider, no advertising network, no disclosure). No profile is created and no cookie is set.
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent)
Contacting us via WhatsApp
On several pages we offer to let you message us via WhatsApp. The link merely opens WhatsApp on your device - no WhatsApp or Meta script is loaded on our website, and nothing is transmitted to Meta unless you click the link.
- If you message us: WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland; group: Meta Platforms, Inc., USA) processes your phone number, the content of the message and metadata. We have no influence over this processing.
- What we process: your phone number and the chat history, in order to answer your enquiry
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in being easy to reach)
- Voluntary: using WhatsApp is optional. You can reach us equally by phone or e-mail.
- WhatsApp privacy policy: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea
Google Ads (conversion tracking and remarketing)
With your consent, we run advertisements through Google Ads provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; parent company: Google LLC, USA). The Google tag measures which advertisement led to an enquiry and builds audiences for further advertisements (remarketing).
- Data collected: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, actions taken (e.g. submitting a form), origin of the click
- Cookies:
_gcl_auand other Google Ads cookies (lifetime: up to 90 days) - Domains involved:
googleadservices.com,doubleclick.net,google.com - Purpose: measuring advertising performance, remarketing, campaign optimisation
- Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent) - loaded only after you agree in the cookie banner
- Transfer to third countries: data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; in addition, the EU standard contractual clauses apply.
- Object: adssettings.google.com or via "Change cookie settings"
- Google privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
We use the analytics service Microsoft Clarity on our website
We use Microsoft Clarity, a web analytics service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA ("Microsoft"), to analyse the use of our website and improve user-friendliness. Clarity enables us, among other things, to evaluate mouse movements, clicks and scrolling behaviour in anonymised form, and to create so-called heatmaps. Microsoft may also use the collected data for its own purposes, such as improving Microsoft products. The legal basis for the use of Clarity is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The information collected by Clarity may be transferred to and stored in the United States. Microsoft has committed to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure an adequate level of data protection. For further information, please refer to Microsoft's privacy policy: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement. You may revoke your consent at any time via our consent management tool.
This consent may only be given by users who are older than 13 years of age. If you are younger, please ask your parent or legal guardian for guidance.
Leadinfo (identifying companies, not individuals)
We use Leadinfo, a service provided by Leadinfo B.V. (Netherlands). It matches the IP address of your internet connection against a directory of commercial IP addresses. Where there is a match, we learn which company visited our website - for example company name, industry and location, taken from publicly available business records. We do not learn which individual was at the device, and we receive no names, email addresses or phone numbers of employees from your visit. Visits from private internet connections produce no match.
- Data collected: IP address, pages viewed, time and duration of the visit, referring page, technical details about browser and device
- Cookies and storage on your device: Leadinfo sets no cookies, but does place identifiers in your browser's local storage:
_li_id(visitor identifier, lifetime around two years),_li_ses(session identifier) and a technical queue for sending data. The_li_ididentifier makes recognition on later visits possible. We verified this on the live site on 11 August 2026. - Purpose: to see which companies are interested in our services so that we can approach them (business-to-business sales)
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in acquiring and serving business customers). Because an IP address can constitute personal data, we base this processing explicitly on that ground rather than on consent.
- Your right to object: you may object to this processing at any time - informally by email to office@wellewest.at, or directly with Leadinfo at leadinfo.com/en/opt-out. After an objection, no further matching takes place for you.
- Retention: identified company visits are stored by Leadinfo for the term of our contract and deleted afterwards.
- Third-country transfer: none. Leadinfo is based in the European Union and processing takes place within the EU.
- Leadinfo privacy policy: leadinfo.com/en/privacy
Your rights, in particular the right to object

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time. Should material changes be made, a corresponding notice together with the updated version of the privacy policy will be published on our website.
