If you start a website with one of the large website builders today, the question is not whether you'll be locked in, but when you'll notice it.
Wix locks you into its format. With WordPress you depend on plugins that may eventually no longer be maintained. Webflow locks you into its hosting. If you want to switch, you start over from scratch — re-enter content, Google has to find you again, all your statistics gone.

Your content is backed up to three independent locations every day. If something goes wrong — accidental deletion, server outage, in the worst case a hacker attack — your website is back online in less than 30 minutes. The last 30 days are versioned and stored immutably (even hackers cannot delete them).

Premium variant
Isolated database for confidential professions.
To be clear: Even with a standard website, your form submissions are of course visible only to you. Nobody else — no other client, no other website — has access to them. That is standard, not premium.
However, if you belong to a profession with a statutory duty of confidentiality (doctors, lawyers, tax advisors, notaries, psychotherapists), the standard often does not legally suffice. For these cases we offer a premium variant with additional safeguards:
